This Privacy Policy explains how mace.gg (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the mace.gg website or the mace desktop application.

Who we are

mace.gg is operated from Switzerland. For privacy-related questions or to request account deletion, contact us at contact@mace.gg.

Information we collect

Website visitors. When you browse mace.gg, we do not require an account. Our hosting provider may process standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, and request time to deliver and protect the site.

Desktop application users. When you sign in through Discord, we receive and store:

• Your Discord user identifier (a stable ID used for authentication);
• Your email address, so we can contact you about your account and offer future login methods;
• Your Discord display name.

The application may also process device and connection information needed to provide its features, troubleshoot problems, and keep the application secure.

How we use your information

We use the information above to:

• authenticate you;
• provide, maintain, and improve the mace service;
• communicate with you about your account or support requests;
• protect against abuse and ensure security.

We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.

Third parties

The desktop application connects to Discord for authentication. Discord handles your credentials under its own terms and privacy policies.

We use bunny.net for hosting. These providers process data only as necessary to deliver the services we use.

Data retention and your choices

We retain your information only for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, or resolve disputes. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing contact@mace.gg. We will delete your account and related data as soon as practicable.

Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information. However, no online service is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

We may update this policy as mace changes. The date at the top of this page identifies the current version.
